July had the lowest rainfall total in 7 years, making our drought situation the second lowest 12 month rainfall since 2009.

Summer weather can be pretty tricky. Note the wind gust on June 8 was in excess of 50 MPH at the Rock Hill airport. Area rain can also be hard to figure. The airport showed 1.6 inches on the 24th, a gauge in Laurel Creek showed 2.8 while one in Shiland only showed 0.6.
